Yuqing Hu joined the National Institute of Building Sciences last year to maximize connections with the industry.

NIBS has built many relationships with members, including numerous agencies and organizations. Our members and partners are critical to our mission and the support of the built environment.

“We collaborate with a lot of industry companies to work on the new version of the building information modeling execution plan,” said Hu, Assistant Professor and Director, DII Lab, Penn State College of Engineering. “I believe in integrating research efforts as well as industry experience so the new version of the BIM execution plan can promote BIM adoption in the building industry.”

In April, NIBS launched a membership campaign to raise awareness, recruit new members, and engage those who support our mission and success.

The campaign – #ThisIsNIBS – features testimonial videos by members sharing their favorite part about being in our community.
