The NIBS Digital Technology Council (DTC) Nominating Committee (NC) seeks nominations to fill officer positions on the DTC Board of Direction (BOD).

Positions include Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary. The Nominating Committee is looking to identify DTC members who are able to meet the responsibilities and duties of these high visibility positions. Nominations are due August 26, 2024.

The time responsibility typically is four to six hours a month, with mandatory bi-annual council meetings.

Officers are elected to a 2-year term, which begins October 1, 2024.

General responsibilities include:

• Strategic and organizational planning
• Sharing information with members of the volunteer group
• Enhancing the organization’s public image
• Assessing its own performance as the governing body of the volunteer group

Council members interested in these voluntary leadership positions, or who wish to nominate a candidate, should submit nominations with the following information:

8. Brief statement highlighting nominee's qualifications
9. Summary of their professional accomplishments
10. Confirmation that nominee has accepted the nomination as submitted

New officers will be announced by the NC Chair during the council’s annual meeting this fall.
