Pro Builder and Pro Remodeler's Women in Residential Construction Conference joins forces with Building Design+Construction’s Women in Design+Construction Conference for three days of keynote presentations, workshops, roundtable sessions, interactive panel discussions, networking events, and more.

The new Women in Residential+Commercial Construction Conference (WIR+CC) will take place in Nashville, TN, October 25-27. Combining these two long-standing events aligns with our mission to create the most impactful event for women in the design and construction industry.

2023 Social Equity in the Built Environment Workforce Survey

In December 2020, the National Institute of Building Services (NIBS) held a social equity roundtable with more than two dozen organizations representing the built environment. This conversation resulted in a recommendation to advance the work on this issue, including obtaining consistent research from across the many sectors of the built environment.

Total Cost of Ownership – Maintenance of Essential Data

The Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) is an accepted approach to gather all the costs associated with ownership of a facility over its life. The inputs to TCO are drawn from several sources and require transparency and collaboration. However, as several of these inputs are forecasts, the resultant TCO is affected by the accuracy of the input data as well as changes to the input data over time. TCO is not static, it requires periodic recalculation and review to ensure accuracy. Like Earned Value Analysis, updated information results in changes to the TCO projections.
