National Institute of Building Sciences Issues Statement on Maui Fire Crisis

In response to the devastating fires on Maui, Roark Redwood, Senior Vice President of Technical and Government Solutions with the National Institute of Building Sciences, has issued the following statement:

We wish to express our profound admiration and deepest respect for the Hawaii National Guard and the brave crews confronting the challenging and devastating fires on Maui. It is during such crises that the strength and unity of a community truly shine through, and the enduring spirit of aloha has never been more evident.

The Hawaii National Guard is working tirelessly, placing themselves in harm's way, to safeguard their communities, protect precious natural resources, and lend a helping hand to those in need. Their commitment to service, courage in the face of adversity, and dedication to their mission serve as a testament to the best of human spirit and resilience.

The National Institute of Building Sciences stands in solidarity with the people of Hawaii, sharing your hopes for swift recovery and restoration.
