Resilience 2021: The Importance of Seismic Functional Recovery and Community Resilience in the Built Environment
James (Jay) Kline is a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Manager and Developer for NIBS where he directly supports federal agencies in developing and managing BIM programs. He provides strategic development for BIM initiatives and process oversight to ensure compliance with the standards developed by each initiative. Jay has worked on Building Information Modeling in excess of ten years focusing on enhancing BIM adoption, BIM programming, MEP systems design, and MEP engineering BIM workflows and standards. He has robust experience in developing BIM and engineering training purposed to empower individuals to work efficiently and influentially in their role in the AEC industry. Jay holds a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering and a Minor in Military Studies from The Pennsylvania State University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and continues to learn and grow through memberships to multiple industry organizations focused on leadership, technology, and engineering.
