Building a Better Tomorrow: National Institute of Building Sciences Launches #ThisIsNIBS

New membership campaign coincides with the new nibs.org site launch and features personal stories and video testimonials

(WASHINGTON, DC, April 1, 2021) – The National Institute of Building Sciences has launched a new membership campaign aimed at telling the stories of those dedicated toward building a better tomorrow.

#ThisIsNIBS launches today on social media. It includes testimonial videos by NIBS members, sharing their favorite part of being a member of the NIBS community on Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter.

“Our members represent all segments of the building industry and are key stakeholders who move us forward,” says Lakisha A. Woods, CAE, President and CEO of NIBS. “These stories highlight the mission of our organization, making the built environment a safer and more sustainable place to live, work, learn and play.”

NIBS also recently launched a brand new nibs.org website. The site is the first step of many toward highlighting the work of NIBS members, re-engaging past members and adding new members to the NIBS community.

Part of the site launch includes the Engage platform, which allows members to connect on new and ongoing projects. Engage also will allow NIBS council members to share documents, meeting minutes, and other important material with one another in a safe location.
