5.02Project Reference Information
Defines the critical information related to the project for reference in the development of the BEP.
- Project Name: A unique name for the project scope.
- Project Owner Name: The formal organizational name for the owner of the project.
- Project Legal Address: The legal address for the project location.
- Project Description: A brief description of the project.
- Project Delivery Method: A description of the project delivery method used for contracting with the prime contracted entities with the owner.
- Team Selection Procedure: Description of the approach to select the team members to complete the project.
- BIM Contracting Procedure: A description of any specific BIM-related contracting procedures to be used on the project.
- Owner Modeling Guide Title: The title of the owner modeling guide(s) to meet the owner project requirements.
- Owner Modeling Guide Location: A path to the owner modeling guide(s).
- Project Information Requirements Title: A title for the Project Information Requirements for the project.
- Project Information Requirements Location: A path to the Project Information Requirements.
- Facility Type Classification: The classification value for the type of facility. This number could be the OmniClass Table 11 number or a unique value system from the owner.
- Facility Type Name: The name of the type of facility. The owner may have a proprietary list of facility types or the team should include the facility type from OmniClass Table 11.
- Project Identification Table: A table with the identification numbers used by project team members to identify the project.
- Project Identification Description: A description of the type of project identification used.
- Project Identification Value: The value of the project identification item.
- Project Certifications Table: A table that identified the relevant project certifications along with the value of each certification. Examples of certifications can include environmental sustainability certification (e.g., LEED or Green Globes), structural facility certifications (e.g., OSHPD compliance), or other relevant certifications.
- Certification Information: Title of the type of certification.
- Certification Value: The goal (if the project is in progress) or value achieved (if the project is complete).
- Project Metrics Table: A table that defines core metrics for categorizing or classifying the project scope, scale or characteristics. This table will allow project participants to compare the project to other potential projects along with providing context to the project participants.
- Project Metric Name: The name of the project metric type used on a project.
- Project Metric Value: The quantitative value of the metric on the project.
- Project Metric Unit: Unit of measure for the metric.
