BIM Roles and Responsibilities

Defines the roles in each organization and their responsibilities related to the information management processes on the project, including which organizations will perform each selected BIM Use.

  1. Role Name: The name of a role, e.g., BIM Manager, Project Manager, etc.
  2. Role Description: A general description of the role.
  3. Role Responsibility: The responsibilities of individuals within this role as it relates to the information management processes of the project.
  4. Required by Contract: A value to define whether the role is required by contract.
  5. Role Code: A unique role categorical value if an entity uses a code value.
