BIM Academic Education Symposium
Setting the Course for a BIM Educational Strategy

Representatives from both academia and industry will convene for a fourth year to discuss how academic institutions are incorporating building information modeling (BIM) into the college curriculum as a technology-based collaborative tool; the various approaches educators are using to integrate BIM at the different educational levels; and the contributions that BIM is having on the attainment of educational outcomes. More than 25 colleges and universities will continue their work to establish a common educational strategy for BIM education. The focus this year will be on certification, accreditation and credentialing. This event is being held in collaboration with the BIM Forum.
