Notes:

  • All Conference Registrations include open meetings, educational sessions, breakfasts, lunches, Exhibit Hall events and annual receptions.
  • The Full Conference, Non-Member Registration includes open meetings, educational sessions, breakfasts, lunches, Exhibit Hall events and annual receptions, PLUS a 1-year free individual membership in the National Institute of Building Sciences.
  • Student Registrations require proof of enrollment in an educational facility.
  • Annual Banquet Tickets are NOT included in any Conference Registration and MUST be purchased separately to attend.
  • Lunch-Only and Breakfast-Only Tickets are for Non-Conference attendees wishing to attend a single lunch or breakfast event only. Breakfast and lunches are included in Conference Registrations.

Registration Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and/or substitutions must be made in writing by December 1, 2017, and are subject to a $50 processing fee. No refunds will be issued on cancellations received after this date. No refunds will be issued for Conference no-shows. Requests should be sent in writing via fax to 202-289-1092 or via email to ptowns@nibs.org.

Cancellation Insurance Option: Optional ticket protection is available to insure the cost of your ticket should you be unable to attend the Conference and need to cancel your registration after December 15, 2017. If you select this option during registration and need to cancel, you may apply for a refund through Allianz Global Assistance. View the full list of covered cancellations.

Visual and Audio Recording Restrictions

National Institute of Building Sciences staff will be taking photographs and video during Building Innovation 2018 for use in printed and electronic news stories and Conference promotions. Your attendance at the Conference grants the Institute the right to take video and photography of you for these purposes. NOTE: All other audio recording, videotaping and photographing of speakers, presentations, exhibits and attendees is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.

International Attendees

Due to time constraints and security requirements, no international visas or letters of invitation will be processed for the 2018 Conference.
