Journal of the National Institute of Building Sciences

The National Institute of Building Sciences began publishing the bi-monthly Journal of the National Institute of Building Sciences (JNIBS) in June 2013, through a relationship with Stamats Commercial Buildings Group. The Institute's previous journals, including the Journal of Building Enclosure Design (JBED) and Journal of Building Information Modeling (JBIM), have been amalgamated into this new periodical. The BIM periodical by buildingSMART Korea

An official publication of buildingSMART Korea, The BIM is a twice yearly publication from the Republic of Korea and is an excellent source of information. The articles are provided in both Korean and English so it is well work reading even if you do not speak Korean. The ROK chapter has been very active for many years and the Alliance has a Memorandum of Understanding with them. Read or download issues

An official publication of buildingSMART Middle East, BIM Journal is a topic-based publication produced each month and there are three articles: the first describes the problem of the month, the second the BIM related solution and the third is a case study focused on solving the problem. Expertise - La Newsletter du BIM

Expertise is the official monthly publication of buildingSMART France and it is in French. There are no English translations, however, it is a very well done newsletter and provides a lot of useful case studies and strategies. For those of you who do speak French or know someone who does, it is an excellent source of information about openBIM efforts. Read or download issues
