The thirteenth international conference on Thermal Performance of the Exterior Envelopes of Whole Buildings will be held on December 4-8, 2016, at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort in Clearwater Beach, Florida. It is sponsored by the Department of Energy, the National Institute of Building Sciences Building Enclosure Technology and Environment Council (BETEC), ASHRAE, and organized by the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). This conference will be presented in two concurrent tracks:

Principles – Devoted to Research; and Practices – Focusing on Practical Applications and Case Studies. Specific topic workshops will also be presented during the conference.

Inaugurated in 1979, the “Buildings Conference” takes place every three years allowing time to develop new research and technology applications and to document the findings. Attendance is international and draws heavily on the advanced technical knowledge of all our global experts.

The “Buildings Conference” presents a great opportunity for product manufacturers, research groups, technical advisors, builders, designers and other consultants to discuss their work achievements, promote interest and awareness of buildings issues, and provide solutions to some of our major building problems.
