Diving Into Digital Twins for the New Emerging Technologies Series
Dominique Fernandez brings more than 20 years of experience in architectural, engineering, construction and specification standards and guidelines development, publishing, and project management to NIBS. For the last 10 years, she has managed the consensus development of two NIBS standards, the United States National CAD Standard® and National BIM Standard-United States®. Current and past projects also include working with federal agencies and industry experts to deliver a web-based enterprise project management tool and convening expert panels to conduct independent reviews and analysis of flood map appeals. Before joining NIBS, Fernandez worked for the Construction Specifications Institute. Upon completing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Colgate University, she pursued a Masters in Architecture from Catholic University of America. Fernandez is fluent in French.
