NASA RELIABILITY CENTERED MAINTENANCE TECHNICAL TRAINING:

This project is assisting NASA in training facility maintenance staff and subcontractors in the latest maintenance philosophies and techniques. In association with Penn State University, seven training courses have been developed addressing RCM, Fault Mode Evaluation and Analysis, and Predictive Testing and Investigation. Week-long training sessions have been delivered at sixteen NASA sites. The project has developed and is piloting a web-based training system that provides 24/7 access to all training materials. The system will facilitate remote participation in a range of training formats. Simultaneous live audio/video participation in remote sessions will be available to NASA facility employees.
