consensus guide, Lead-Based Paint: O&M Work Practices Manual for
Homes and Buildings, funded by HUD, helps protect workers, occupants
and the environment from health hazards associated with O&M work
involving lead-containing materials in homes and buildings. NIBS’ consensus-based, Guide Specifications for Reducing
Lead-Based Paint Hazards, guides designers, owners, and
environmental specialists in obtaining services to identify,
evaluate and abate lead hazards in buildings and homes. The states
of New Jersey and California funded its development. |
