INDOOR ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY

Under a contract with the U. S. Access Board, NIBS continues to develop the work of the IEQ Committee, focusing on the development of new design and construction voluntary guidelines. In February 2007, a presentation was given to the Federal Interagency Committee on Indoor Air Quality and three additional presentations will be made to other industry groups interested in and affected by indoor environmental quality in the Spring/Summer of 2007. NIBS has been invited to make an IEQ presentation at the NASA facilities meeting in Florida in May. Members of the volunteer group who developed the IEQ Report have been able to participate in the presentations by telephone. The IEQ report is available at http://ieq.nibs.org.
