U. S. COURTS DESIGN GUIDE (USCDG):

NIBS developed for the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts, design and construction criteria for Federal court facilities based on needs arising from the Guide’s application. First issued in 1991, the current edition of the Guide was published in 1997. A multi-media CD-ROM of the Guide was produced in 1998. Recent criteria studies addressed electronic access control systems, courtroom and chambers ballistic and resistant glazing, courthouse circulation space, GSA courthouse rent study, and USCDG/GSA standards coordination. NIBS is currently managing the update of the Guide.
