  • All Conference registrations include keynote lunches for days registered, programs and exhibitors reception.
  • Non-member full-conference registration includes lunches, programs and exhibitors reception PLUS 1 year free membership.
  • Proof of enrollment is required for student registrations.
  • Banquet tickets are NOT included in any Conference registration and MUST be purchased separately.
Registration Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations and/or substitutions must be made in writing by December 15, 2013, and are subject to a $50 processing fee. No refunds will be issued on cancellations received after this date. No refunds will be issued for conference no-shows. Requests should be sent in writing via fax to 202-289-1092 or via email to
International Attendees:
Due to time restraints, no new international attendees will be processed for the 2014 Conference. 
Beware of Unauthorized Solicitations:

A company that claims to be working with the National Institute of Building Sciences on Building Innovation 2014: The Institute’s Conference and Expo has been contacting our sponsors and exhibitors and potential attendees without our authorization. Please be advised that the Institute has no affiliation with this company and that this company is in no way connected to Building Innovation 2014.

You may receive a call or voice mail similar to the following scenario. The caller, from phone number (800) 217-4402, says that he or she represents NIBS and asks to speak to the organization’s event planner. Based on a number of different website complaints, this company’s employees have approached potential attendees for numerous conferences, falsely representing themselves to sell housing for the event.

The National Institute of Buildings Sciences does not sell attendee lists. The Institute did not supply the company with your contact information and requests that you do not respond to this solicitation.
