The newly formed National Council of Governments of Building Codes and Standards (NCGBCS) is seeking nominations for its Board of Direction. Eligible candidates include professionals who represent state and local agencies or departments concerned with state or local building codes, standards and regulations. Candidates will be selected to represent each of the four regions of the United States (Western, Midwestern, Southern and Northeastern), as well as two at-large directors.
Members of the NCGBCS Board of Direction will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the Council and identifying worthwhile projects to support the advancement of building code adoption, enforcement and administration. Nominations are due January 15, 2012. Submit a resume.
