Judy Marks (left), Director of the Institute’s National Clearinghouse for Educational Facilities (NCEF), discusses what components make a school green during a Congressional Green Schools Caucus briefing. Marks gave an overview of the current federal and state landscape for educational facilities and talked about NCEF’s involvement in the Coalition for Green Schools.
The briefing, which was co-chaired by Representatives Ben Chandler (KY-6), Robert Dold (IL-10) and Jim Matheson (UT-2), also included presentations by Andy Olivastro (center), Manager, Community Affairs, at United Technologies Corp (UTC), and Susan Castellan (right), Sr. Project Manager for Whiting-Turner Contracting Co.
