Building Innovation 2016: The National Institute of Building Sciences Fourth Annual Conference & Expo, scheduled for Monday – Friday, January 11-15, 2016, at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel in Metro Washington, D.C. The Conference agenda will explore Achieving a Resilient Future. During the Conference, the Institute will present two collaborative tracks to examine the efforts underway within multiple segments of the industry to address different facets of the built environment and develop coordinated strategies for resiliency. The tracks will give Conference attendees insight into the Institute’s various activities and the roles multiple industry disciplines play in contributing to a resilient future for the building industry and the communities it serves. Additional programming will focus on challenges and opportunities to advance healthcare facilities and building science education. The Exhibit Hall will showcase the latest advancements in technology. The agenda also includes the Beyond Green™ Awards presentation and the Institute’s Annual Reception and Awards Banquet along with other networking opportunities. It’s the one event where the entire industry is represented as the Institute fosters industry-wide collaboration on innovative solutions to improve the built environment.
